5/23/25 This past week I’ve been learning WordPress by trial and error. I just bought a domain last week. This is about my 5th day stumbling through the WordPress’s menus. It’s nowhere near as intuitive as I had hoped it would be, so I’ve been querying ChatGTP every time I get stuck. ChatGTP IS intuitive and has been a great resource for figuring just about anything out. and getting me through the learning curve in hours not days.
I started out with a goal 5 days ago to write a main page and link it to a side page and to be add some form of media. It came out a little rough and the links didn’t function, but I basically got it. This first “NOW” page is the result of that. Then I started feeling more ambitious, and added a header menu, more pages, hyperlinks, jump links and got most of them functional. The home, links, why and music sections/pages all function now. I’ve been running on four of five hours of sleep at night so I am going to keep this first “NOW” post simple and stop chasing progress until I’ve caught up on sleep.
So to close out that first goal here is an unserious and unedited bit of fun with a guitar, a mic, and a looper pedal I call Stand By Me (Karmic Destruction) . Obviously I claim no credit for the song, only the interpretation is my own.
